is so key. when your Canon 7D is making 32 Gb of data for about every 12 minutes of footage, and then that’s ProRes-ed up to at least 200% of that for editing, things can get out of control very fast. And since there’s no real long-term storage other than hard drives (that I know of) you’re going to end up with stacks of 2Tb drives… the main thing is making a system so you can FIND the footage you took 6 months ago and use it.
